Use Every Opportunity Wisely

Gal. 6:2-10

A family is the smallest entity in a society. A nuclear family which consists of a father, mother and the children must see themselves as one entity bearing each other’s burdens in love. Each of you should know fully that you have been brought together and placed where you are by God to be a part of His work on Earth. There are some issues which will arise as challenges either within or without the family that are opportunities to bring glory to God if well utilised. As Paul the apostle appealed to the Galatian Christians to provide material support for their spiritual leaders, so are the parents to provide for their children and the parents should be supported by the children to succeed. For you’re in your family to radiate God’s glory, the injunction must not be taken lightly at the home front, knowing fully that whatever you sow in your family you shall reap.

Point of Emphasis:      Use your opportunities to sow good seed into your family in order to have good harvest.

Prayer Point:               Lord, help me to use every opportunity wisely.

La famille est la plus petite entité dans une société. Une famille nucléaire est constituée d’un père, d’une mère et des enfants qui doivent se voir comme une entité portant avec amour les fardeaux les uns des autres. Chacun de vous doit savoir exactement que vous avez été emmenés ensemble et placés là où vous êtes par Dieu pour faire partie de son œuvre ici-bas. Il y a certains problèmes qui se soulèveront comme des défis soit de l’intérieur ou de l’extérieur de la famille, lesquels sont des opportunités pour glorifier Dieu si elles sont bien saisies. De la même façon que l’apôtre Paul en a appelé aux chrétiens de la Galatie de fournir du soutien matériel à leurs leaders spirituels, il en est de même pour les parents de subvenir aux besoins de leurs enfants et aux enfants de soutenir leurs parents pour que ceux-ci réussissent. Etant donné que tu te trouves dans ta famille pour faire radier la gloire de Dieu, l’injonction ne doit pas être prise à la légère au plan familial, sachant très bien que tu moissonneras ce que tu auras semé dans ta famille.

Point essentiel : Mets à profit tes opportunités à semer de la bonne semence dans ta famille dans le but d’avoir une bonne moisson.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à mettre judicieusement à profit toute opportunité.
