Total Obedience Required

Rom. 6:17-27

Paul emphasised that any believer who commits sin is a slave to sin. One of the requirements for entry into God’s kingdom is to forsake sin. You must submit yourself to the standard teaching and conduct, based upon apostolic instructions which are outlined in the word of God. Anyone who professes to be a member of the household of God should give total attention to sound doctrine or teaching given in the pastoral letters. For you to know that you are part of the kingdom of God, check if your conducts are in line with the word of God. If there is anything which is at variance with the word of God in your life, as you do this morning devotion, decide to change your way of life so that you can be qualified for the kingdom of God.

Point of Emphasis: You cannot be living in sin and claim to be in God’s kingdom.

Prayer Point: Lord Jesus help me to do things that are approved by You alone.

ROMAINS 6 :17-27

Paul mit l’accent sur le fait que tout croyant qui commet un péché est esclave du péché. L’un des critères d’entrée dans le royaume de Dieu est d’abandonner le péché. Tu dois te plier au standard de conduite et d’enseignement basé sur les instructions apostoliques décrites dans la parole de Dieu. Quiconque professe être membre de la maison de Dieu doit rester très attentif à une saine doctrine ou à un enseignement sain donné dans les lettres pastorales. Pour que tu saches que tu fais partie du royaume de Dieu, examine si tes conduites sont en harmonie avec la parole de Dieu. S’il y a quelque chose dans ta vie qui est en contradiction avec la parole de Dieu, comme tu fais ta dévotion matinale, décide de changer ton mode de vie afin que tu puisses être qualifié pour le royaume de Dieu.

Point Essentiel : Tu ne peux pas vivre dans le péché et prétendre être dans le royaume de Dieu.

Axe de Prière : Seigneur Jésus, aide-moi à faire ce qui n’est approuvé que par toi seul.
