Diligently Teach The Word Of God

Deut. 6:4-9

If there is any area of child training that many families are falling short, it is in the area of diligent studying and teaching of God’s word in individual family. If a survey is made on how many families are opening the Bible at least once in a day to read and meditate on it by all members of the family, the result will be shocking that even most Christian homes have no time for the word of God. Children raised in such environment will only be applying worldly wisdom and standard to all they are doing instead of basing them on the word of God. Parents must go back to the basics by finding time to teach and explain life issues to the children from God’s word. Don’t think they are young, start early and they will catch the truth of God’s word.

Point of Emphasis: The Bible is believers’ life manual; study and teach its contents.

Prayer Point: Lord, help me to be closer to my Bible through reading, meditating and teaching it to my family than ever before.
