DAILY BIBLE READING

He Is The Overflowing Spirit

Jn. 7:36-42

Jesus used the imagery of the festival of shelters, in which the Jews commemorated how God led their ancestors in the wilderness to the Promised Land, how He cared for them and provided water from the rock for them to pass across the message about the Holy Spirit. On the last day of the festival, when water was poured out, Jesus rose up and gave invitation to those who were thirsty to come and drink from Him for an overflowing rivers of living water. This means anyone who receives the Holy Spirit will have overflowing and abundance of power, wisdom, blessings, idea etc, through which to bless others. The Holy Spirit will become a well of living water in him or her.

Point of Emphasis:     If you believe in Christ, the Holy Spirit will flow from you to others.

Prayer Point:              Take this song and invite the Holy Spirit into your heart “let the living water flow over my soul, let the Holy Spirit come and take control…”

IL EST L’ESPRIT DEBORDANT

JEAN 7 :36-42
