Having Right Attitude During Trial Of Faith

James 1:2-4

We all desire to have pleasant trouble-free journeys in life. However we often come across roadblocks, difficulties and trials. Storms rise and strong winds blow, trying to sink the boat. At such times, the immature Christian fumes, complains and rebels against God. But the mature Christian realises that the trials come just to test the genuineness of his faith. He realises that trials and temptations are instruments in the hand of God to train him and prepare him for greater glory. Of course, trials are not ever palatable. Nonetheless, they create endurance, steadfastness and patience. When the difficult times seem to drag on endlessly, there is the temptation to bulk and rebel. The more mature one is the more one allows endurance to do a thorough work for one to become fully developed, lacking in nothing.

Point of Emphasis:        Mature Christians know that trials are tools to shape them for God’s purpose.

Prayer Point:            I receive the vibrant faith that is able to see me through every trial without falling.

DETENIR L’ATTITUDE CONVENABLE PENDANT L’EPREUVE DE FOI

JACQUES 1:2-4
