Let God’s Word Sanctify You

Jn. 17:9-17

The Psalmist asks a question “By what way shall a young man (and even children and old people) cleanse his way?” The Psalmist, knowing perfectly the answer, supplies it, “it is by taking heed to God’s word” (Ps. 119:9). When Jesus was praying for the disciples, He asked God to sanctify them through His truth, which is the word of God. God’s word contains all the truth you need for your sanctification. All you need to do is to be reading, studying, meditating and applying the truth found in God’s word to your life on daily basis. Let the word guide, direct, instruct and lead you in all you do and you will see that you will live a sanctified life.

Point of Emphasis: Sanctification is easy for those who base their lives on the word.

Prayer Point:            Lord, help me to drink Your word and let its truth cleanse me everyday.

PUISSE LA PAROLE DE DIEU TE SANCTIFIER

Jn. 17 :9-17

Le Psalmiste pose une question: « Comment le jeune homme (voire les enfants et les hommes adultes) rendra-t-il pur son sentier? » Le Psalmiste, connaissant parfaitement la réponse, avance ceci : « En se dirigeant d’après ta parole » (Ps 119:9). Quand Jésus priait pour les disciples, il demanda à Dieu de les sanctifier par sa vérité qui est la parole de Dieu. La parole de Dieu contient toute la vérité dont tu as besoin pour ta sanctification. Tout ce dont tu as besoin de faire est de lire, d’étudier, de méditer et d’appliquer au quotidien la vérité contenue dans la parole de Dieu à ta vie. Puisse la parole de Dieu te guider, te diriger, t’instruire et te diriger dans tout ce que tu fais et tu verras que tu mèneras une vie sanctifiée.

Point essentiel : La sanctification est facile pour ceux qui ont leur vie basée sur la parole de Dieu.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à consommer ta parole et que ta vérité me purifie tous les jours.
