You Will Judge The World And Angels

1 Cor. 6:1-6

When a person knows his worth and the high position that God has placed him, there are some things that he doesn’t struggle for or do, which are seen as belittling his status. This is Paul’s argument when he was addressing the Corinthian Christians who were taking themselves to court. He stresses that if believers are going to sit with Jesus and judge the ungodly world as well as fallen angels, why would they belittle themselves in this world by dragging themselves before an unrighteous judge whom they are going to judge at last. To Paul, doing so is as if believers do not know their worth. It is also a shameful thing, signifying lack of competence, if those who will judge the world and Angels cannot settle earthly trivial matters.

Point of Emphasis:         Never take a fellow brother to a law court before unbelievers (v. 6)

Prayer Point:                  Lord, don’t allow things that will make me contemplate taking my brother in the Lord to court, happen to me.

TU JUGERAS LE MONDE ET LES ANGES

1 CO. 6 :1-6
