Victory Over Death

1 Cor. 15:50-58

Paul says that death will not always be around because Jesus Christ defeated death on the cross. Death is therefore powerless over us. The sting of death will one day be taken away permanently. The absolute victory of Christ over death and our hope in Christ should provide the basis for our conviction and cause us to finish strong and well. All those who fervently look for Christ’s return should live in hope that He might return in our lifetime. We must live in accordance with apostles’ pattern. There is resurrection of life for the believer and judgment for the wicked. Which one will be your lot? Make efforts to be dead to sin and alive to righteousness.

Point of Emphasis:         Death is swallowed up in victory.

Prayer Point:                  Help me O Lord to change my ways, be steadfast, unmoveable and abounding in the work of the Lord. My labor will not be in vain in the Lord.

LA VICTOIRE SUR LA MORT

1 CO. 15 :50-58

Paul affirme que la mort n’existera pas toujours car Jésus-Christ a triomphé de la mort sur la croix. La mort n’a donc pas de pouvoir sur nous. L’aiguillon de la mort sera un jour ôté permanemment. La victoire absolue de Christ sur la mort et notre espérance en Christ doivent nous fournir la base de notre conviction et nous amener à bien finir et de façon efficace. Tous ceux qui cherchent le retour de Christ de manière fervente doivent vivre dans l’espoir qu’il pourra retourner à notre époque. Nous devons vivre conformément au modèle des apôtres. Il y a la résurrection à la vie du croyant et le jugement pour le méchant. Laquelle sera ta part ? Fais des efforts de mourir au péché et d’être vivant dans la justice.

Point essentiel : La mort a été engloutie dans la victoire.

Axe de prière : Aide-moi Seigneur, à changer mes voies, à être ferme, inébranlable, et à travailler de mieux en mieux à l’œuvre du Seigneur. Mon travail ne sera pas vain dans le Seigneur.
