Dissociate Yourself From Unworthy Members

1 Cor. 5:9-11

Believers must understand that it is not every one who comes to church that is a child of God. Though we will be praying for their conversion, at the same time, we must be watchful and careful in the way we relate with them, especially those who have been disciplined in the church for one grievous sin or the other. The reason for this is for you not to be contaminated and negatively influenced. The Bible says evil communication corrupts good manners (1 Cor. 15:33), the more you associate with unworthy members, the more you are likely to be lured into their impure ways of life. For you to assist the person into genuine reconciliation with God, dissociate from him, but do it with love, so that the church of God will remain pure.

Point of Emphasis:         Separate from so-called Christians who indulge in sins expressly forbidden in the Scripture.

Prayer Point:                  Lord, help me not to indulge in any sinful and unruly habits.

DISSOCIE-TOI DES MEMBRES INDIGNES

1CO. 5 :9-11

Les croyants doivent comprendre que ce n’est pas tout un chacun qui vient à l’église qui est enfant de Dieu. Bien que nous priions pour leur conversion, en même temps, nous devons être vigilants et faire attention à la façon dont nous entretenons des relations avec eux, surtout ceux qui ont été punis dans l’église pour un péché grave ou un autre. La raison est que pour ne pas que tu sois contaminé ou négativement influencé. La Bible dit que les mauvaises compagnies corrompent les bonnes mœurs. (1Co. 15 :33). Plus tu t’associes avec les membres indignes, plus tu es susceptible d’être attiré dans leurs modes de vie impurs. Pour que tu assistes la personne à une réconciliation sincère avec Dieu, dissocie-toi d’elle, mais fais-le avec amour, afin que l’église de Dieu reste pure.             

Point essentiel : Sépare-toi des soi-disant chrétiens qui se livrent aux péchés expressément interdits dans l’Ecriture.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à ne me livrer à aucune des habitudes de péché et d’actes indisciplinés.
