The Church Is The Household Of God

Eph. 2: 19-22

Today, Paul communicates again to us on how members of the church can pursue the same goal in order to maintain our citizenship in Christ Jesus. As the family of God, all barriers have been broken. The saints in Heaven and Earth are united through Christ (Eph. 3:15). We are reminded by Hymn…? “Christ is our cornerstone, on Him alone we build, of His true saints alone…” There is nothing that should intimidate you since you are solidly built in Him, you cannot fall.

Point of Emphasis:         You are fellow citizens with the saints while the church is the household of God.

Prayer Point:                  Help me Oh Lord not to lay my hand on anything that will make me unfit for the fellowship in heaven or of the saints.
