The Ephesian Believers Receive The Holy Spirit

Acts 19:1-7

As Paul was going from one place to the other preaching the gospel, he came to Ephesus and met about 12 believers. He did not ask them whether they have eaten or not or whether they were at the prayer meeting a day before but if they had received the Holy Spirit. Why this question? This is because Paul knew that a believer without the Holy Spirit is a carnal Christian and will always do thing mechanically without the help of the Holy Spirit. Surprisingly, the people have not heard about the Holy Spirit. Paul laid hands on them after explaining who the Holy Spirit was and they received the Holy Spirit and spoke with tongues and prophesied. Like Paul, Jesus is asking you this morning “have you received the Holy Spirit?” Answer Jesus genuinely this morning.

Point of Emphasis:     Your spiritual experience is not complete without the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Point:              Holy Spirit, fill me with Your overflowing power and anointing.

LES CROYANTS EPHESIENS RECOIVENT LE SAINT-ESPRIT.

ACTES 19:1-7
