For Me To Live Is Christ, To Die Is Gain

Phil. 1:12-21

Many people are fearful of death. Some have even put themselves in the bondage of the Devil so as not to die. They have forgotten that death has been appointed to every man. Believers should not entertain any fear about death because it is a way to other glorious events of God. Paul understood this and that was why when he was in prison, he did not despair. He was even rejoicing that through his bondage some believers have taken up the challenge to preach the gospel and that Christ is being magnified in his body whether by life or by death. In essence, he decided to glorify God whether he is alive or dead. This should be the mindset of everyone that will partake in the glorious resurrection of the dead.

Point of Emphasis: Whether in life or death, be for Christ.

Prayer Point:            Lord, help me to live and die in You.

CAR CHRIST EST MA VIE ET LA MORT M’EST UN GAIN

PHIL. 1 :12-21          

Beaucoup de gens ont peur de mourir. D’autres se sont mis eux-mêmes sous la servitude du diable pour ne pas mourir. Ils ont oublié que la mort est réservée à chaque homme. Les croyants ne doivent pas accepter la peur concernant la mort car c’est la voie qui mène aux autres événements divins. Paul comprit cela et c’est pourquoi il n’avait pas désespéré quand il était en prison. Il se réjouissait même que par ses liens, certains croyants ont relevé le défi de prêcher l’évangile et que Christ est glorifié dans son corps, soit par sa vie, soit par sa mort. Il décida essentiellement de glorifier Dieu quoique mort ou vivant. Ceci doit être l’état d’esprit de toute personne qui aura part à la glorieuse résurrection des morts.                      

Point essentiel : Quoique mort ou vivant, sois pour Christ.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à vivre et à mourir en toi.
