You Will Account For Your Sin

Ezek. 18:1-20

Because of the corporate punishment of God on some people of Israel and because God said He would visit iniquities on the children and children’s children to the fourth generation, anytime the people are punished, they would admit that they were being punished for the sins of their fathers instead of admitting their guilt. Therefore, God changed the proverb in Israel and declared that individuals will account and be punished for his or her sin. The father will not be punished for the sin of the children; neither will the children be punished for the sin of the father. Rather, everyone will bear the guilt and consequence of his or her sin. This means you can’t shift the blame for your sin on anyone else but you will take responsibility for your sin. Therefore, beware.

Point of Emphasis: You will be charged, prosecuted, convicted and sentenced for your sin in the court of God if you don’t repent.

Prayer Point:            Lord, deal with all traces of sin in me in Jesus’ name (Amen).

TU RENDRAS COMPTE DE TES PECHES

EZ. 18 :1-20

Du fait du châtiment collectif de Dieu sur certains Israélites et étant donné que Dieu dit qu’il punit l’iniquité des parents sur leurs enfants et petits-enfants jusqu’à la quatrième génération. Une fois que les gens sont punis, ils admettent qu’ils sont punis pour les péchés commis par leurs pères au lieu d’admettre leur culpabilité. Dieu changea ce proverbe en Israël en déclarant que chacun rendra compte pour lui-même et sera puni pour ses propres péchés. Le père ne sera pas puni pour les péchés de ses enfants ; non plus les enfants punis pour les péchés de leur père. Plutôt, chacun portera la culpabilité et les conséquences de ses péchés. Cela revient à dire que tu ne peux pas accuser autrui pour tes péchés mais tu seras reconnu responsable de tes péchés. Fais donc attention!

Point essentiel : Tu seras accusé(e),  poursuivi(e), reconnu(e) coupable et condamné(e) pour tes péchés dans la cour de justice de Dieu si tu ne te repends pas.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, charge-toi de toutes les traces de péché en moi au nom de Jésus.
