Don’t Be Worse Than An Infidel

1 Tim. 5:1-8

Another principle of Christian marriage is for couple, especially the husband who is the head of the family, to make adequate provision of food, shelter, clothing, and education for the members of his family. These responsibilities are basically for man, but the wife, who is an help meet, must support her husband to ensures that there is no laxity in the discharge of these responsibilities. In God’s evaluation, any man who refuses to perform these duties should not be regarded as a believer, irrespective of the level of spirituality. Rather, he had denied the faith and he is worse than an unbelieving husband who is performing these duties. Therefore, do all that is in your capacity to make your family comfortable through adequate provision of basic needs.

Point of Emphasis:         Make adequate provision for your household.

Prayer Point:                  Lord, You are the Great Provider, provide for me to provide for my family.

NE SOIS PAS PIRE QU’UN INFIDELE

1TIMOTHEE 5 :1-8

Un autre principe du mariage chrétien est pour le couple surtout le mari qui est le chef de la famille à pourvoir adéquatement les membres de sa famille de la nourriture, de l’abri, des vêtements et de l’éducation. Ces responsabilités relèvent en fait de l’homme, mais la femme, qui est une aide, doit soutenir son mari pour s’assurer qu’il n’y ait pas de relâchement dans l’exercice de ces responsabilités. Dans l’évaluation de Dieu, tout homme qui refuse de remplir ces devoirs ne doit pas être considéré comme un chrétien, quel que soit le niveau de sa spiritualité. Plutôt, il a renié la foi et est pire qu’un mari athée qui lui remplit ces devoirs. Fais donc tout ce qui est de ton pouvoir pour rendre ta famille confortable par la provision des besoins essentiels.

Point essentiel : Pourvois ta maison de façon adéquate…

Axe de prière : Seigneur, tu es le grand fournisseur, pourvois-moi pour pourvoir ma famille…
