MORNING SESSION (HOUR OF DISCOVERY)

TOPIC: PAUL IN THE BOOK OF COLOSIANS
He stated some of the thing stated by Paul in the book of Colossians, he stated that Jesus Christ is pre-eminent, he is the first and the foremost of all and as believers we should showcase and live our life according to him, Paul advised them Colossians to put Jesus at the center of their lives and to maintain their relationship with Jesus.
He stated three major things we must do to make our faith stand and full of proof.
- We must maintain constant and consistent communion with Christ Col 1:6-7, we should strive to grow more deeper in our communication with God, and not just about the eternal benefits, Jesus Christ must be constant source at our nourishment to grow spiritually says the preacher.
- He proceeded by saying that we must always watch out and guard against the deception of Satan. Col 8:10
- He said we must live in the light not in the shadows, living in the light of forgiveness, living in the power of the cross of Christ, the cross of Christ helps to live a hot life, we do not need to practice a fake spirituality.
- As the man of God he knot he stated that human effort and philosophy are in vain, we were not stated by keeping the rules, the only why is Christ through faith and obedience, staying the word and on my knees in prayer.
