FOCUS: OVERCOMING OUR CHALLENGES TO FRUITFUL EVANGELISM
AND TOTAL CHURCH GROWTH

INSIGHT FOR EFFECTIVE PRAYERS OF THE DAY
What are the challenges confronting fruitful evangelism and the expected growth of the Church?
Is it lack of money? No, not money. Is it lack of instrument? No not at all, lack of member? No, lack of revivalist? No, lack of time? No but it is lack of Disciples. The early Church was not known with building or heaven-tearing sound equipment but with strong believers that turn disciples, dynamic, trust worthy, Holy Spirit filled, heavenly conscious and evangelism-driven. If the Church of today operates in this level, other challenges will bow and the Churches would grow.
Pastors of today should go back to making disciples for Jesus. Members should equally take interest in becoming disciples of Christ and stop making a big denomination, when the expected growth is not there.
A disciple has Jesus Christ as his master. A disciple will not joke with His word. A disciple takes preaching of the gospel as his duty and a must. A disciple value a soul on eternity stand, he will follow him up until he is won. Fruitful evangelism can only be done by disciples and the Church will grow. Through the disciples of Jesus, the then world was reached and evangelized. More disciples were added to the twelve, Paul, Stephen, Apollo, Timothy, Philips and many others. This can only be accomplished through the teaching of the word of truth.
Through Christ-like life
Through a leader that has time for the work.
Through fervent and constant prayer life.
Through teaching on different patterns of evangelism and discipling converts
LET US PRAY
- Father – please give us insight to the work of discipleship better than before.
- Lord, let all who are just Church members but not saved, be saved.
- Lord, help our ministers to do the work of discipleship better.
- Lord, wake Your Church from slumbering.
- Power of God to destroy every power disturbing the work of evangelism.
- Lord, make our evangelism fruitful henceforth.
- Every attack from the kingdom of darkness against the growth and expansion of GOFAMINT, be destroyed in Jesus’ name.
- Heavenly Father, empower us with Your Holy Spirit to do Your work better.
- This Church, receive fresh fire of evangelism in Jesus’ name.
- We receive power and wisdom to retain our converts in Jesus’ name.
- As from now, GOFAMINT, begin to grow numerically, spiritually, extensionally and financially.
- Lord, rekindle the fire of evangelism in our bosom, make it irresistible.
- Fresh passion for the perishing souls, fall on all heavenly-bound members in Jesus’ name.
