On the morning of the third day, the session commenced with a Peace Prayer rain, on the topic “The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet,” as noted in Romans 16:20. This segment was led by Pastor P.K. Stephen IP from Region 20. Following this, Pastor Abel Afolabi, the Regional Pastor from Region 27 and the day’s moderator invited the praise team to lead the congregation in a praise and worship session. Subsequently, Pastor Dr. Richard Usenu, the Provost of REGETS, led a morning supplication focused on the theme “Lord, Restore love, unity, commitment, and passion for kingdom service to GOFAMINT.” Following the prayer, the choir led the congregation in singing Hymn 6.
The Bible exposition for the morning, based on Philippians Chapter Two, was presented by Pastor Sunday Adu, the AGO of Foreign Missions. He highlighted some cogent points to be noted:
NOTES:
There is a way you take, that you can never know peace.
You may desire peace and the way is hidden from your sight.
If you don’t have the fear of God, you can never know the way of peace.
Selfishness is a destructive sin.
There is no place for selfish ambition in the kingdom of God.
Vain glory overrates your abilities and underrates the abilities of others.
Those that wish to be exalted by God must first humble themselves.
We cannot murmur and increase.
Following the exposition, Pastor Paul Edu facilitated a testimony session. The day’s remaining activities included a service offering led by Pastor J.A.S. Oluwafemi, the DDA., which was followed by the choir ministration.
The main teaching was delivered by the General Overseer, Pastor Dr. E.O. Abina, followed by questions and reflections.
Teaching Two: JESUS, THE PRINCE OF PEACE
Texts: Luke 2:14; Genesis 3:8
NOTES:
Anywhere Jesus the Prince of Peace manifests Himself, He brings Peace with Him.
God CANNOT reside anywhere there is sin.
Jesus was not forced to come for the salvation of men.
The Peace of God brings complete wholeness; nothing missing, broken or damaged.
Be sure of who you believe, trust and follow.
A Christian is a Christian; you either be a Christian or you are not.
God makes us rich for the poor and for His kingdom’s sake.
We are saved to serve!

That is why this chapter was written with emphasis on the practical application and experience of this reality. Don’t forget that we ended with a call on how to keep and maintain your peace. Pay particular attention to the last point, which is to become engaged in the work of God. WE ARE SAVED TO SERVE.
Finally, announcements were made by Pastor Aina Jerome, the Regional Pastor of Region 11. He introduced the moderator of the Youth Night to tell the congregation what to expect for the day.
The benediction was said and the congregation dispersed, some to pray and others to rest.
SUMMARY (DAY THREE)
EVENING SESSION
The youth service, moderated by Pastor Ayooluwa Odunyemi, the National Corpers’ Pastor, began with an opening prayer led by Pastor Amoo Tobi (ARYP, Region 21). This was followed by an electrifying praise and worship session by the youth praise team, a congregational hymn coordinated by Pastor David Ajayi, the GSF Lagos Field Pastor, and a Bible reading by Sis Taiwo Oni, the GSF National Sisters’ Coordinator. The youth choir ministered a song that preceded the message delivered by Elder Gbenga Abina from the USA.
NOTES:
The Lord will not send you to an enemy you can physically match, he will send you to those who are stronger, and wealthier than you.
Unless you understand what is required, you will be defeated each time
Lifting the banner of peace is lifting Christ in every area each time.
To overcome the opposition of the devil you need:
Holy Spirit: without the Holy Spirit, you are as good as dead. Many people can speak in tongues but without power.
Know the voice of God, it assures you of peace in every area.
During the youth evening, various sessions were anchored by Pastor Akinfenwa Olaoluwa, the Ogun State youth coordinator, which included drama, songs, spoken words, and memory verse recitation. Pastor Collins Adanikeh collected the service offering, and Pastor Prof. Moses Aderibigbe, the GSF National Campus Pastor, introduced the speaker for the second message, Pastor Joseph Akinleye from GOFAMINT House of Favour in Akure. The message which came with so much fire, energy and fiery instructions of raising ten thousand youths who would be on fire for God in GOFAMINT.
Topic: A Chosen Generation
Text: 1 Peter 2:9
NOTES:
God has a method of picking His chosen.
God intentionally chose every youth in this mission.
God has chosen you for a reason. Do you know it?
We are lethargic to our responsibilities in God because we don’t know how great they are.
A generation must thank God because of your existence.
No one has the monopoly of the Holy Ghost.
What God does with one; He can do with all.
The youth of this generation talk too much but lack power.
PRAYERS
God, come upon this generation like you did in the lives of our fathers.
Lord, do not pass us by – come strong and mighty. We want to carry your power as of old.
After the message, the General Overseer, Pastor Dr. E.O. Abina, prayed for the speaker.
The head of youth and campus ministry, Pastor Dr. Tunde Ojo, expressed his appreciation to the fathers, especially the General Overseer. He noted that many youths are still standing strong in the service of God within GOFAMINT. He further encouraged the fathers, stating that the youths are ready to work for God and should be permitted to do so. He acknowledged that while they may exhibit excesses, they should be mentored. Pastor M. Babatunde, the National Youth Pastor, delivered the vote of thanks and urged the fathers to consider making Youth Day a full-day event in the coming convention.
Pastor John Victor, the GSF National Vice President, made the announcements, after which Pastor Dr. Tunde Ojo concluded the service with a closing prayer. The benediction was said by the General Secretary, Pastor S.O Omowunmi and it was a wrap for the Youth Night.
