FOCUS: USING YOUR TALENT FOR PROFITABLE SERVICES

TEXT:  MATT 25:14-30

INSIGHT FOR EFFECTIVE PRAYER

Every one born into the world has one talent or more, your talent is what you are good at that you can do to help humanity or the good things that happened through you.

What you can do I may not, no regret about this, there is peculiarity in each person.

Phil 4:13. I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.

You can compose song, it is a talent, you are good at telling stories, you can care for the sick, you can play many musical instruments, you are a builder, you can draw things, you can operate equipment, you can interpret like Aaron, you enjoy cooking, you enjoy praying for others, you are good at teaching, you love ushering and a lot more. We will use our talents profitably if they are being used for the edification of the Church, community and the nation . bearing in mind that God created us to serve others, that is why He gave us talents differently. Talent can be wasted or well utilized; one thing is sure, we shall give account of how it is being used!

Use it in love – for God loved us and gave his only begotten son as a ransome for our sin (Mark 10:43-45)

Use it with respect – you have no reason to be proud because it was given to you.

Use it happily – for you are great when you serve others.

Unused talent will disappear but used one increases.

Kings don’t rule over the universe, they only rule their domains but those who are blessings to the world through their talents, rule beyond their domain!

PRAYER POINTS

1. God Almighty, thank you for the depositing of your talent in my life.
2. Help me further to discover all the talents in me in Jesus name.
3. In Jesus name, I receive power to use my talents wisely
4. Every talent blocker, get out of my way in Jesus mighty name
5. My talent, begin to bless others and draw them to Christ.
6. Hijackers and destroyers of talents, you are paralyzed in Jesus name.
7. As from today, what I know to do (talent) will bring out the greatness of God in me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ turn great.
8. In Jesus name, I become a channel of blessing to my community and Church of God through my talents.
9. I will not mis-use the talent of God in my life in Jesus name.
10. Do you know all your talent? Mention them in prayer that they will not be frozen.
11. I will make heaven and will be rewarded for the talent well used in Jesus name.
