FOCUS: PREVAILING INTERCESSION FOR THE GENERAL OVERSEER AND EXCO MEMBERS FOR ALL ROUND SUCCESS
Text: Eph. 6:18 – 24.
INSIGHT FOR EFFECTIVE PRAYER
The success or otherwise of any programme of undertaking in an organization depends largely on the leadership. The glory of whatever success story we have in our Church today goes to God without any reservation. However, the commendation goes to our leaders. God is saying to them: “well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things—(Matt. 25:23). This is not to flatter them. Truly, our leaders under the General Overseer have done extremely well. Because they are not Angles. However they are not perfect, but thank God, they are above board. The mistake that some of us make is to compare them with other leaders. “They that compare themselves with themselves are not wise” the Bible says. The fact that our leaders and of course, our Church is not yet at the best level does not mean that we are not doing well. It means we have to pray that we may go to the best level.
Our General Overseer, for instance has been an exceptional man. He has done exploits in the area of evangelism, Church planting, Christian education, Mission works etc. He has done this over the span of five decades and in many cities, countries and continents. The same applies to our other leaders. Kudos to them!
The reason for our focus today is that, they are not yet perfect. The same way Paul requested that the C of his time should pray for him is the same way our General Overseer and other leaders desire and deserve our prayers.
LET US PRAY
- Thank you dear Lord, for what you made the life of our General Overseer to be. He has being a gift to mankind especially to us in GODAMINT.
- Thank you Lord for the life of the Deputy General Overseer, the General Secretary and all members of Exco for making them vessels of honour to bless us.
- We also thank you for the past (retired) leaders dead or alive for the tremendous ways in which you have used them.
- Today, Lord, we present our General Overseer before the throne of grace, let there be renewal of grace, unction and vision upon his life.
- Let Pastor Elijah Oludele Abina not die until he has discharged every blessing you have deposited in him for the blessing of the Church Lord.
- Dear Lord, renew everything that needs renewal in his spirit, soul and body in Jesus name.
- Use Pastor Elijah Oludele Abina to open the next chapter in the divine agenda for GOFAMINT oh Lord.
- Dear Father, rise up to meet his need and confront all challenges of his life oh Lord.
- Grant him the wisdom and other resources needed to carry out all his God-given assignment oh Lord.
- Make divine health and renewed energy his permanent legacy oh dear Father.
- Move mightily in the Abina’s family and prove your mighty power in the life of every member of the family
- Bless Pastor S.O. Ewuola with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, oh Lord.
- Bless Pastor Ewuola with all that money can buy and all money cannot buy, reward him wonderfully for all the good works he has been doing.
- Move powerfully in the Ewuola’s family with signs and wonders oh Lord.
- Visit the family of late Pastor R.A George and bless them beyond their expectation.
- Release double portion of your power upon the life of every member of the Exco.
- Holy Spirit, continue to guide the steps of the Exco in Jesus name.
- We bind every evil plan and purpose over all the Exco members, in Jesus name.
