Having The Right Foundation

Acts 9:17-19

Although, Saul, later Paul, had an encounter with the Lord, he was still ready to follow the necessary steps to grow in the Christian race. By the leading of God, Ananias came to Paul where he was staying to lay his hands on him to receive both his sight and the Holy Spirit. Immediately Ananias laid his hand on Paul, he received his sight and was baptised in the Holy Spirit. It was also recorded in our text that Paul got up and was baptised. He was saved, he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and was also baptised in water. This is the right pattern for any believer who wants to make success of his Christian journey in life. Are you born again, are you baptised in the Holy Spirit and by immersion? If you have missed any of the foregoing, your foundation is not right, you need to correct your foundation

Point of Emphasis:     You need the right foundation of salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit and water.

Prayer Point:                         God, help us to have the right foundation for our Christian journey.
