God Is Plentious In Mercy

Jer. 3:11-15

God is ready to pardon sin and have blessings bestowed upon His children once they acknowledge their sins and turn away from them. These words were proclaimed to the northern Israel in captivity, being punished for their sins. God made a call to them through Prophet Jeremiah to return to Him, with a promise of forgiveness and restoration. Israelites were not only promised restoration, they will also have the opportunity of having God given pastors who will teach and cause them to understand His word. All through the scriptures and in our contemporary days, we continue to see God as being faithful and merciful, ever ready to save those who come to Him in humility and with genuine heart of repentance, and commissioning them to reach out to others. The fact that you are still alive shows that God has not given up on you.

Point of Emphasis:     I will not cause my anger to fall on you; for I am merciful, says the Lord.

Prayer Point:              Lord, I come to you in humility of heart, forgive me of all unfaithful acts and restore me by your mercy.
