HOUR OF DISCOVERY (DAY 2).
Pastor E. O. Afolabi, in today’s hour of discovery titled “You are a candidate of divine favour”, took his text from Esther 2: 9, 15 – 18.
According to Pastor Afolabi, the basic pointer to favour is salvation. The cleric who identified prayer as a booster of favour and accelerator of destiny however noted that man cannot do what God is capable of doing. In his words, “mercy and favour is destiny flavor and every one favoured by God is under divine grace to be favored by men.He sighted examples of people that were favoured in the bible to include; Ruth, Daniel, David and so on.
Furthermore, noting that divine purpose brings favour, Pastor Afolabi also emphasized that those who work in divine purpose have an assurance of divine favour. He highlighted among other points that; The favour of God delivers from the sword of men and takes one from the back to the front, as evident in the story of Esther, whom God moved from nowhere to somewhere.
Other notable points are that; Favour accelerates reply to prayers, justifies the humanly-perceived guilty, brings honour, and turns gatemen to great men. The thought-provoking and spirit-inspired message came to a close with life-transforming prayers and prophetic declarations.
