CONVENTION DAY THREE
FULL SUMMARY (MORNING & EVENING)
MORNING SESSION
The opening prayer was led by the moderator, then the praise and worship session was led by the praise team, followed by the morning supplication led by Pastor Segun Ojo. Prayer points were raised, asking the Lord to uproot all evidence that is limiting the move of revival in GOFAMINT. The prayer also requested that the Lord restore the level of allegiance to the church and inject evidence of fresh fire into the church.
The morning tonic was delivered by Pastor Daniel Aghanenu, who referenced scriptures including Genesis 30:37, 42-43, Ecclesiastes 10:13, and shared inspiring words such as “God allocates special blessings to mankind,” explaining that “your allocation is tied to your location,” and emphasizing that “to assess your location, you must be a glory carrier.” He further explained that “your allocation by God is given by divine instruction,” and that “God places you in a certain place as His ambassador.” To access this allocation, he advised, “You must be a man of faith,” and in your location, “you will enjoy the riches of heaven in abundance.” He outlined how to assess one’s location, stating that “you must be diligent and hardworking,” referencing Romans 10:11. He also emphasized that “you must be a dangerous and sacrificial giver” and that “paying your tithe is essential to accessing your allocation in your location.
Pastor Peter Ewenla prayed for the congregants, followed by an announcement by the moderator. The testimony session was anchored by Pastor Paul Edu after which Pastor Oglegwu prayed for the testifiers, The service offering was taken by Pastor Samson Fasemo, a regional pastor. The choir gave a rendition before the second lecture.
In the second lecture, the main teaching focused on the Material Blessings of Abraham, taught by Pastor Peter Oludimila of the A.G.O. Church Growth, with scripture references including Genesis 21:24, Genesis 13:2, Deuteronomy 7:14, Genesis 31:12, Haggai 2:8, Isaiah 40:22, Psalm 50:10-12, Genesis 14:14, and Genesis 24:35. It was explained that “to be a blessing” means that God decides to shower grace on a specific person and that “you shall be a blessing” implies blessing personified. To be a blessing, he said, means “your life will bless others.”
The introduction described Abraham’s blessing as one that transcends generations, and highlighted that “when God decided to help him,” He chose to multiply him, blessing him with the commanded blessing. Abraham’s blessing was described as “more than enough,” noting his wealth in gold, silver and land, referencing Genesis 13:13-15. It was explained that God blessed Abraham with descendants, as seen in Genesis 21:1-3. Obedience was presented as “a weak submission that honors God,” and it was said that Abraham “shifted levels” from one stage to another through obedience.
Prophetic declarations followed, including promises that “the Lord will make you exceedingly great in life,” that “God will bless you in progressing and increasing measures,” that “your children shall be greater than you,” and that “your generation will never experience retrogressive fortune.
The conclusion summarized the gospel of salvation, and more prophetic declarations were made, proclaiming that “God will bless you in all ramifications.” The service was closed with a prayer from Pastor Dr. E.O. Abina, and an announcement for Youth Night was also made.
