Alone With God

Lk. 9:18,28-33

What is your prayer life like? A composer says that prayer is the master key and the Christian staff to walk with God. It is a pity that the devil has taken this staff from some Christians and has finished them. This is the reason why they can no longer have their quiet time, where they are alone with God and receive strength and direction for the day. Some no longer pray before they go to bed and some don’t even attend prayer meetings any longer. Our Master Jesus did not play with prayer. He always set a time aside to be alone with God in prayer. It was one of those occasions that He was transfigured. Don’t let us joke with our prayer life, for it is our power.

Point of Emphasis:     Always find time to be alone with God.

Prayer Point:              Lord, renew my thirst and strength for result-oriented prayer.

SEUL(E) AVEC DIEU

LUC 9:18,28-33

A quoi ressemble ta vie de prière ? Un compositeur dit que la prière est un passe-partout  et le bâton du chrétien pour marcher avec Dieu. C’est pitoyable que le diable ait déjà ôté ce bâton de certains chrétiens et en a fini avec eux. C’est la raison pour laquelle ils ne peuvent plus disposer de leur moment calme où ils restent seuls avec Dieu et reçoivent force et direction (guide) pour la journée. D’autres ne prient plus avant d’aller au lit et d’autres ne prennent même plus part aux réunions de prières. Notre Maître Jésus n’a pas du tout joué avec la prière. Il avait toujours consacré du temps à être seul avec Dieu en prière. C’était à l’une de ces occasions qu’il fut transfiguré. Ne jouons pas avec notre vie de prière car elle représente notre puissance.

Point essentiel : Trouve toujours du temps pour être seul (e) avec Dieu.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, renouvelle ma soif et ma force pour des prières axées sur le résultat.
