Teaching Three: BECOMING A PEACEMAKER (RECONCILING PEOPLE TO GOD)
Text: 2 Corinthians 5:18 – 20
NOTES:
- There are lives attached to you; There are some people that will never hear about Christ until you minister it to them.
- Peacemaking is a ministry.
- If not for Jesus’ patience for some people; they will have died before the gospel gets to them because they hate the gospel.
- You are saved to serve.
- Your biggest ministry is witnessing Jesus to every single place you’ve been positioned.
- Whoever that understands God’s terror against sinners will not just sit without evangelizing.
- Anyone who hasn’t been reconciled to God is an enemy of God.
- The first category of people we must reconcile to God are the sinners.
- What qualifies you to be a child of God is the encounter that births regeneration.
- The mundane things of this world will go with this world.
- The family is the primary agent of socialization.
- If you don’t have peace with God on earth, you can’t have peace with Him in heaven.
- The ministry of reconciliation is mediation between man and God.
- After giving one’s life to God, the goal is to get transited to heaven.
- A peacemaker acts according to who is in Him.
Urgent Reason for Reconciliation
- The terror or judgement of God (2 Corinthians 5:11)
- Death (Luke 12:20)
- Obligation (2 Corinthians 5:15)
Those we Must Reconcile to God

- Backsliders (2 Timothy 4:10)

CONCLUSION:
In conclusion, now that we have learned about becoming peacemakers, reconciling people to God, are you a peacemaker or a troublemaker?
Just look at what it cost our Lord to make peace between us and God. He did not sweep our sin issue under the carpet. He addressed it. He paid for it. Be a peacemaker too.
The general overseer handled the prayer ministration. the announcement was said by Pastor Olabiyi IP, Region 23 and the benediction was made by Pastor Dieudonne (National Overseer, Republic of Benin).

SUMMARY (DAY FOUR)
EVENING SESSION
During the evening session of Day Four’s Gospel and Victory Night, Pastor Atere Joshua, the Regional Pastor of Region 21, served as the moderator. He invited Pastor Samuel Abioye, the National Overseer of Ghana, to lead the opening prayer. Following the prayer, the praise team led the congregation in a vibrant session of praise and worship.
The choir leader then led the congregation in singing the congregational hymn “In Christ Alone.” This was followed by a scripture reading by Deaconess Ogunbodede. Pastor Paul Edu coordinated the sharing of a few testimonies, which provided uplifting moments for the participants of the Peace Convention.
Next, the choir ministered in songs before Pastor Isaac Ajomole from Belgium preached the first message titled “The Carnal Man.”
Texts: 1 Corinthians 3:3; Romans 2:24; Romans 8:6-8; Romans 7:18 – 20;
Three types of men
- The Natural man who is a prey in the hand of the predator
- Carnal man is a disgrace to the kingdom of grace
- The Spiritual man – a proof of the gospel.
NOTES:
- A carnal man will gather people with his charisma but he will scatter them with his character.
- There is no peace for a carnal man.
- If you’re living in carnality, you are lost.
- If a man walks by the spirit and doesn’t give in to the dictates of flesh, God moves mightily and powerfully with him.
- A carnal man is not waiting for the coming of the Lord.
- Carnality is a sinker of glory.
- Carnality specializes in trade by barter; taking something valuable from you and giving something of lesser value.
- Carnality is a spirit of pride.
- Carnality will make someone think he is flying because his picture is on a flyer.
- This is a dispensation where ministers attack themselves on the altar.
- When there is strive and envy – it takes us to a level of degeneration and division
- The health and strength of a church is unity.
- The devil comfortably sits in an assembly where there is division.
- Sometimes, when we sing “so we lift up holy hands” … we are LIARS!
- Carnality will take the children of the kingdom to the outer darkness. Where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Characteristics of a Carnal Man
- He is dead while he is yet alive.
- He is toying with the life God has given him.
- He is disobedient and considered as a wicked man because he lives in flesh.
- He is an enemy of God, not submissive to the spirit of God.
- He doesn’t please God but pleases himself.
- He is a lost soul even in the midst of the crowd.
After this message, Pastor Soga Fasan from Ireland collected the service offering. The atmosphere was charged next as Elijah Daniel led an electrifying praise session.
Following this energetic praise, Prophet Abiola Adebisi preached the second message titled The Kingdom of Peace and Joy.

- When you put on Christ, you will not make any provision for the flesh.
- When you give your life to Jesus, you receive His peace.
- You know a man of God by the Word.
- I need to get the Kingdom of God if I crave His joy and peace.
- Its either you are a gospeller or a gossiper.
- When you possess the Kingdom, peace and joy will follow.
- When your service is acceptable to God, you will receive the approval of men.
- If you fear God; it is expedient that you depart from evil.
- Do not think or worry about your issues; Think about what Jesus can do.
- Any organization you find yourself, your service is needed there.
- If there’s space for good of the land, there’s space for the bad of the land.
- Your response to persecution matters.
- You must be sowing the seed of righteousness if you have taken the kingdom of God.
- One way to know that you have the kingdom of God is PERSECUTION.
These three things are in Christ:
- Salvation,
- Transformation and
- Manifestation
Jesus gave us three things;
- Peace,
- His Joy and
- His Glory.
Three ways to get the kingdom:
- You need to be a seeker of the kingdom.
- To serve the Lord and
- You must have the fear of God.
