Committed To Preach The Gospel
Rom. 15:14-21
The first mention of Paul we read in the Bible is his support for and active participation in the persecution of Christians. But he spent the rest of his life preaching the gospel, especially to those that were not of Jewish extraction – the Gentiles. He went from city to city preaching the word of God and converting many to Christ. Even those he had not met, he wrote messages to them, like the epistle to the Romans. He suffered a lot of persecution in the process, faced all manners of life-threatening danger, experienced lack and privation. But all of these did not deter him. We are all called to get involved in preaching the word to bring others into God’s family. You don’t have to be a “full-time Evangelist” to preach the word; you don’t have to be an ordained minister either. As long as you have given your life to Christ, it is mandatory for you to tell others.
Point of Emphasis: I have made it my aim to preach the gospel.
Prayer Point: Grant me the grace to always share Your word with all those who come my way.
