DELIVERANCE (PART TWO)

Sunday 19^th July, 2015.

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?  But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children” (Isaiah 49:24-25).

Deliverance is part of the provisions of the Cross. Jesus is not Just a Saviour, He is also a deliverer. “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:13). He wants you to be free from every form of satanic or human oppression, that was why He came to deliver man from sin (Matthew 1:21) and set us free from the world, the flesh and the devil. He made provision for our continual victory; He gave us power and authority over all the powers of the enemy, to trample on them and to cast out demons in His mighty name. It is our duty to enforce this provision of the cross.

The Bible chronicles the captivity and release of the Israelites at different times in history, usually due to their disobedience which is later followed by repentance and release. On a particular occasion, God delivered them into the hand of the Midianites for seven years. Judges 6:2-6  “And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds. And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;  And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass. For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it. And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD”.

Disobedience is a costly commodity, it exacts a greater price than the pleasure it gives. This was the case with the children of Israel who fled from their homes and were living in caves, mountains and dens, under a self-imposed captivity because of their enemies. They became a prey to the mighty and the terrible and their means of sustenance were constantly devoured by the enemy. Do you find yourself constantly living from hand to mouth? Or whenever you earn some amount of money, troubles will instantly multiply to consume them, leaving you with nothing? I decree that every force operating like the Midianites in your life be destroyed by the fire of the living God, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Gideon had a life changing encounter with God. He first demolished the altars of his father and built an altar for God. Sin was the legal hold which gave the enemy the operating permit in their lives and once this was out of the way, they were once again in a position where God could fight their battles. Gideon and his men defeated the Midianites and Israel became free. You also need to position yourself where God can fight your battles and grant you total deliverance.

Let us consider some of the activators of deliverance:

1. Confession: Confess your sins, repent and forsake them: Gideon first destroyed the altars of baal. He began with the enemies within, before confronting those on the outside.

Psalms:51-17  “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise”

2. The blood of Jesus: The devil has no answer to the blood of Jesus. It guarantees the victory of saints in every encounter. Rev:12-11  “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death”.

3. The Word of God: This is also the sword of the spirit, you can revoke and destroy every satanic work with the word of God. John8:32  “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
4. The Anointing of the Holy Spirit: Isaiah_10:27 “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing”.

5. The Believer’s Authority through the Name of Jesus:Mark 16:17  “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues”

Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph. I pray for you today that the fire of the Holy Ghost will flow over your spirit, soul and body. I command the intensity of the fire of the Holy Ghost to drive out of you every satanic presence, affliction, oppression and diabolic possession in the Mighty name of Jesus. I bind every satanic strongman and I terminate their activities. I command every shackle, chain, cage, legal hold, stronghold and evil attachment be broken and destroyed. By the anointing of the Holy Ghost, I command every satanic burden and yoke be shattered and destroyed. Whatever has been hindering you from enjoying the abundant life in Christ, I command them to be destroyed. I decree that from this day forward you will walk in a new freedom, new victory and your liberty will be permanent In Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

« Le butin du puissant lui sera-t-il enlevé? Et la capture faite sur le juste échappera-t-elle? Oui, dit l’Éternel, la capture du puissant lui sera enlevée, Et le butin du tyran lui échappera; Je combattrai tes ennemis, Et je sauverai tes fils» (Esaie 49:24-25) 

La délivrance fait partie des dispositions de la croix. Jésus n’est pas seulement un Sauveur, il est aussi un libérateur « qui nous a délivrés de la puissance des ténèbres et nous a transportés dans le royaume du Fils de son amour» (Col. 1:13). Il veut que tu sois libre de toute forme d’oppression satanique et humaine, c’est pourquoi il vint pour délivrer l’homme du péché (Matthieu 1:21) et pour nous libérer du monde, de la chair et du diable. Il prit des dispositions pour notre victoire continuelle ; il nous donna le pouvoir et l’autorité sur toute la puissance de l’ennemi, de l’écraser et de chasser les démons en son nom puissant. Il est de notre devoir de mettre en vigueur cette disposition de la croix.

La Bible fait la chronique de la captivité et de la libération des Israélites à différentes époques de l’histoire, due à leur désobéissance qui s’ensuivit plus tard de repentance et de libération. Dans des cas particuliers, Dieu les livra entre les mains des Madianites, pendant sept ans. Juges 6:2-6 : « La main de Madian fut puissante contre Israël. Pour échapper à Madian, les enfants d’Israël se retiraient dans les ravins des montagnes, dans les cavernes et sur les rochers fortifiés. Quand Israël avait semé, Madian montait avec Amalek et les fils de l’Orient, et ils marchaient contre lui. Ils campaient en face de lui, détruisaient les productions du pays jusque vers Gaza, et ne laissaient en Israël ni vivres, ni brebis, ni bœufs, ni ânes. Car ils montaient avec leurs troupeaux et leurs tentes, ils arrivaient comme une multitude de sauterelles, ils étaient innombrables, eux et leurs chameaux, et ils venaient dans le pays pour le ravager. Israël fut très malheureux à cause de Madian, et les enfants d’Israël crièrent à l’Éternel»

La désobéissance est un produit cher qui exige un prix plus grand que le plaisir qu’il procure. C’était le cas avec les enfants d’Israël qui avaient fui  leurs maisons et qui vivaient dans des caves, des montagnes et des fosses sous une captivité qu’ils s’étaient eux-mêmes imposée à cause de leurs ennemis. Ils devinrent du butin au puissant et au tyran et leurs moyens de subsistance furent constamment dévorés par l’ennemi. Découvres-tu constamment que tu vis au jour le jour? Ou bien toutes les fois que tu gagnes une somme d’argent, les problèmes se multiplient instantanément pour les engouffrer, te laissant ainsi sans rien ? Je décrète que toute force opérant comme les Madianites dans ta vie soit détruite par le feu du Dieu vivant, au nom puissant de Jésus. Amen.

Gédéon eut une croisade transformatrice de vie avec Dieu. Il démolit d’abord les autels de son père et bâtit un autel pour Dieu. Le péché était la prise légale qui donna à l’ennemi le permis d’opérer dans leur vie et une fois que celle-ci était hors de leur voie, ils se retrouvaient encore une fois dans la position où Dieu pouvait combattre pour eux. Gédéon et ses hommes bâtirent les Madianites et Israël devint libre. Tu as besoin toi aussi de te positionner là où Dieu peut combattre pour toi et t’accorder une délivrance totale.

Considérons quelques activateurs de délivrance :

1. La confession: Confesse tes péchés, repens-toi et délaisse-les. Gédéon détruit d’abord les autels de Baal. Il commença par les ennemis internes avant de confronter ceux du dehors. Psaumes 51:19  « Les sacrifices qui sont agréables à Dieu, c’est un esprit brisé: O Dieu! tu ne dédaignes pas un cœur brisé et contrit»
2. Le sang de Jésus: Le diable n’a pas de riposte au sang de Jésus. Il garantit la victoire des saints à chaque rencontre. Apo. 12:11  « Ils l’ont vaincu à cause du sang de l’agneau et à cause de la parole de leur témoignage, et ils n’ont pas aimé leur vie jusqu’à craindre la mort»
3. La parole de Dieu: C’est aussi l’épée de l’Esprit ; tu peux révoquer et détruire toute œuvre satanique avec la parole de Dieu. Jean 8:32 : « vous connaîtrez la vérité, et la vérité vous affranchira»
4. L’onction du Saint-Esprit: Esaїe 10:27  « En ce jour, son fardeau sera ôté de dessus ton épaule, et son joug de dessus ton cou; et la graisse fera éclater le joug»
5. L’autorité du croyant par le nom de Jésus: Marc 16:17 : « Voici les miracles qui accompagneront ceux qui auront cru: en mon nom, ils chasseront les démons; ils parleront de nouvelles langues»

Grâces soient rendues à Dieu qui nous pousse toujours à triompher. Je prie pour toi aujourd’hui que le feu du Saint-Esprit s’écoule sur ton esprit, corps et âme. J’ordonne que l’intensité du feu du Saint-Esprit chasse toute présence satanique, affliction, oppression et possession diaboliques au nom puissant de Jésus. Je lie tout hercule satanique dans ta vie et je mets fin à leurs activités. J’ordonne le brisement et la destruction de chaque entrave, chaîne, cage, prise légale, forteresse et attachement diabolique au nom de Jésus. Par l’onction du Saint-Esprit, j’ordonne à tout fardeau et joug sataniques dans ta vie de s’écraser et d’être détruits. J’ordonne que quoi qui t’empêche de jouir de la vie en abondance en Christ soit détruit. Je décrète, qu’à compter de ce jour, tu marcheras dans une nouvelle liberté, une nouvelle victoire et ta liberté sera permanente au nom puissant de Jésus. Amen.
