DAILY DEVOTIONAL READING
1 Pet. 1:3-9
Humanity was condemned to a hopeless eternity without Christ, but glory be to God that the resurrection of Jesus has brought life to all. We only need to appropriate the grace for salvation that is bestowed on mankind. Again believers are encouraged to hold fast their faith which is precious than gold. It is so because gold, as precious as it might be, is corruptible but our faith in the cross will lead to triumphs even if tested by fire. Our faith in God will result in honour, praise and joy when Christ shall be revealed. Hence, it’s important for all believers to remain steadfast, and remember that those who endure to the end shall be saved.
Point of Emphasis: The culmination of our faith is the eternal salvation of our souls.
Prayer Point: O Lord, uphold me to the end to share in the heavenly inheritance.
