FOCUS: LORD, GIVE GOFAMINT THE BLESSINGS, PROGRESS AND SUCCESS SHE DESIRES AND DESERVES!

Text: ISAIAH 45:1-8

INSIGHT FOR EFFECTIVE AND FERVENT PRAYERS

GOFAMINT, in the committee of Churches, is a force to reckon with. Every member must be proud that he or she belongs. GOFAMINT is a visionary Church; a Bible believing and Bible teaching Church; a purpose-driven Church; a holiness-oriented Church; a heaven-focused Church; a soul-winning Church; a destiny fulfilling Church. The list of the qualities of our Church can go and on and on like that. GOFAMINT is a force and voice to reckon with among the Churches in Nigeria and beyond. The impact of our activities cannot be overlooked. Individual lives and communities have been transformed and turned downside up to the glory of God and benefit of mankind. The impact of the work and ministrations of GOFAMINT is not limited to Nigeria. The other countries of the world like Benin Republic, Ghana, USA, Philippines, Britain, Australia and others have been blessed immensely by GOFAMINT. However, the fact that our Mission has good qualities does not mean that we are perfect. We have our areas of weaknesses and failures. One of such areas of weakness is our inability to take the gospel to all the countries of the world which is our original vision and mission. Being the church with the word for the world, our desire is that the people of the different nations of the world would have a taste of the word which has transformed our own lives. One way or the other, we have not been able to fulfill this noble objective of ours, because we lack the means. We have men and women that have been equipped and prepared to preach the gospel in the different nations of the earth, yet we cannot go because of limited resources at our disposal.

Since the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, we believe the Lord will give us an open door to His treasure of blessings and grant us an access to it for  further spreading of the gospel.

There are also other laudable projects that the leadership of the Church have visions to embark upon. One of such important projects is the International Gospel City on Ibadan-Lagos Expressway which will be hosting our International Annual Convention and the permanent headquarters of the Church. Another important project is the Gospel Heritage Project which will be situated at our present headquarters at Aseese, Ogun State. What about our noble desire being put in place to reach the different countries of the world with the gospel of Christ?

We want to use this forum to appeal to our beloved brothers and sisters, noble members of this great Church to believe in the Lord our God for the achievement of these laudable projects, and also believe in His servants so that we can prosper (Chro. 20:20). It is the duty of our leaders to receive vision of what the Church ought to do, it is the duty of the membership to give them unalloyed support. It is unthinkable to see or hear of some members complaining or murmuring against God and His servants when God-given programmes are being introduced. United we stand, divided we fall. There is power in unity. We need to know that we can achieve these great projects, because with our God and with our faith in Him, all things are possible. Let us cooperate to play our roles faithfully.

Mary told the people at the marriage of Cana of Galilee: “whatsoever He saith unto you, do it” (John 2:5). Our individual support and cooperation coupled with our little, little contributions are the things the Lord would pull together to add His divine input to make the impossible possible for the realization of our dreams.

UP GOFAMINT, UP JESUS!

LET US PRAY:

1. We are going higher / 2ce. For the Lord is on the throne, we are going higher, we are going higher, we are going higher.
2. Thank You, Lord, for the vision of our Mission, especially all the vessels You used to take us to this present level.
3. Thank You, Lord, because the way You chose Cyrus and anointed him could be likened to your choice of GOFAMINT to fulfill Your will.
4. Vs. 1a. Let Your hand bring salvation to the world through this Church more than before in Jesus name.
5. Vs.1b. Open the two leaved gates which lead to both spiritual and natural blessings for us in this Church, oh dear Lord.
6. Vs. 2a. Take the lead and go before us as we advance in the works of the kingdom in Jesus name.
7. Vs. 2b. Remove all obstacles, hindrances and barriers on our way forward in the mighty name of Jesus.
8. Vs. 3. According to Your word, give us the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places in the mighty name of Jesus.
9. Open our eyes to see the hidden riches You have prepared for the work of the kingdom in Jesus name.
10. Proof Yourself mightily in the life of every member of this Church, because we identify with You, dear Lord.
11. Manifest Yourself strongly in our individual lives, assemblies, programmes and projects in the name of Jesus.
12. Open the door of nations of the earth for GOFAMINT to go in to fulfil Your mandate in the mighty name of Jesus.
13. Undertake for us in our gigantic programmes and give us great success in Jesus name.
14. Cause men, women, members, non-members, human beings and angels to begin to contribute to the construction of the Gospel City and the Gospel Heritage projects in cash and kind in Jesus name.
15. Touch the heart of every GOFAMINT member to give maximum support to the leadership in our quest to expand Your kingdom oh dear Father.
16. Open the doors of Your blessings for all Gofamint members as we joyfully appropriate the vision and give maximally towards to Church projects.
17. Draw the heart of every GOFAMINT member to the International Gospel City, cause them to love the city more than their homeland because it is Your city.
18. Cause each of us to embrace the vision of the city, and key into the project.
19. Let us decree: “Drop down ye heavens, from above upon Gofamint, and let the sky pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together” in Jesus mighty name.
20. From today, we begin to enjoy a “heaven on earth atmosphere in GOFAMINT in the mighty name of Jesus.
21. Dear Lord, make GOFAMINT a model Church on earth in Jesus name.
