Hindrances To Effective Prayer Life
James 4:1-8
People get confused when they do not receive answers to their prayers. What are the obstacles hindering our prayers from being attended to or preventing us from receiving the results which God has granted? Unconfessed sin blocks our prayers from reaching the throne of grace (Prov. 15:8). We cannot get answers to prayers offered without faith (Jam. 1:5-8) or if our main goal is to satisfy our carnal desires (Jam. 4:1-2). A Christian who has set an idol on the throne of his heart cannot receive answers to his prayers; in fact his prayers are abomination to God. Many people also block the way to their prayers by refusing to forgive those who offend them (Matt. 18:21-22). When you refuse to forgive others, you forfeit the privilege to be forgiven by God and hence you block your access into God’s presence. If you desire to have answers to prayers, allow the Holy Spirit to search you and convict you of any sin in your life.
Point of Emphasis: Love of the world makes a man become God’s enemy and blocks his access to God’s throne.
Prayer Point: I receive a pure heart and clean hands that I may have access into God’s holy place.

LES OBSTACLES A UNE VIE DE PRIERE EFFICACE
JACQUES 4 :1-8
Les gens deviennent confus quand ils ne reçoivent pas les réponses à leurs prières. Quels sont les obstacles entravant nos prières d’être prises en compte ou nous empêchant de recevoir les résultats que Dieu nous a accordés? Un péché inavoué barre le passage à nos prières d’accéder au trône de la grâce. (Pro. 15 :8). Sans la foi, nous ne pouvons pas recevoir les réponses à nos prières. (Jac.1:5-8) ou bien si notre but essentiel est de satisfaire nos désirs charnels. (Jac.4:1-2). Un chrétien ayant placé une idole sur le trône de son cœur ne peut pas recevoir les réponses à ses prières, en fait ses prières sont une abomination à Dieu. Beaucoup de gens barrent le passage à leurs prières en refusant de pardonner à ceux qui les ont offensés. (Matthieu 18 :1-22). Quand tu refuses de pardonner aux autres, tu perds le privilège d’être pardonné par Dieu et tu barres ainsi ton accès auprès de Dieu. Si tu désires que tes prières soient exaucées, permets au Saint-Esprit de te sonder et de te déclarer coupable de n’importe quel péché dans ta vie.
Point essentiel : L’amour du monde fait d’un homme l’ennemi de Dieu et barre son accès au trône de Dieu.
Axe de prière : Je reçois un cœur pur et des mains propres afin que je puisse avoir accès au lieu saint de Dieu.
