DAILY DEVOTIONAL READING
Be An Imitator Of Jesus Christ
What God desires is to have an intimate relationship with mankind. God desires to be loved by His children with a love that is unbreakable and unwavering, and He also wants us to be kind, loving and forgiving just like Him. God’s ultimate plan and purpose is to conform us to the image of His Son Jesus Christ. For us to become holy as He is holy we must walk through life demonstrating the same nature and the same character traits that Jesus demonstrated when He was on earth. In order to be imitators of Jesus Christ, we must know the kind of person He is. He is holy, steadfast, powerful, loving, compassionate and merciful. If we claim to be God’s children and we fail to imitate Christ, we only deceive ourselves. The glorious church loves the Lord Jesus Christ and all humanity.
Point of Emphasis: The glorious church is kind, loving and forgiving.
Prayer Point: Make me, O Lord, to be more like Jesus every day of my life.
